A RESPONSE TO ATATÜRK FROM THE CHILDREN OF THE TURKISH FUTURE
Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk,
In the Republic of Türkiye, which you have entrusted to us, the state, originally established to serve humanity, has been sacralized, while the sacred human has been reduced to a mere servant of the state. Human rights and freedoms have been granted without limits to some, while completely denied to others. As a result, the state—whose foundation is supposed to be justice—now teeters on the brink of collapse. The current situation, devoid of justice and legal security, does not constitute a state order, but rather a system of discriminatory persecution.
We know in the second century of the Republic, which is about to collapse but you say will remain forever, that the only way we should follow against the divide-and-rule policy imposed upon us and the politicians who implement this policy is to set aside all divisions and become ONE uniting around a common goal. And this common goal is to build a fully independent Türkiye, where a just system reigns, by ousting the heedless, misguided, and even treasonous power holders within the country from power.
As the children of the Türkish future, who have fully realized that the Republic is our most precious treasure, we know that today the Republic of Türkiye faces an unlawful government that has dismantled the constitutional order. We, who have not forgotten the date of April 16, 2017, declare to the whole world that those who abolished the constitutional order through an unlawful coup have no right or authority to govern the Republic, and this will never be the case in any circumstances . Under the current conditions, where there is no legitimate constitution or government, our people, who are the ABSOLUTE AND UNCONDITIONAL HOLDERS OF SOVEREIGNTY, must restore the legal order with their primary constituent authority.
Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk,
Today, we, who are demonstrating the will to protect the Republic, have definitely realized what our duty is. The duty given to us on the stage of history is to revive the Republic, which has been left without a constitution and is on the verge of collapse at its centenary, on the foundation of justice. And today, by fulfilling the requirements of the situation and circumstances we face, we have embarked on the path with the aim of bringing the Republic of Türkiye to a legitimate constitution through the constituent power of the people and bringing our people to a just order.
In these days when we must defend our independence and the Republic, we are fully aware that the opportunities and conditions we face are far from favorable. However, we do not dwell on the opportunities and conditions we find ourselves in when taking on our duty. Instead, as we demonstrate the will to protect our most precious treasure, the Republic of Türkiye, which you established and entrusted to us 100 years ago by putting your lives on the line, we are inspired by you and the words of Mahatma Gandhi, who led India's independence struggle: “Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.”
Today, we, the children of the Türkish future, invite all our citizens to walk together on the path of realizing the ideal of a fully independent Türkiye, where a just system reigns, declaring to the whole world that we have embarked on the path with the aim of restoring the Republic of Türkiye to a legitimate constitution and returning our people to their rightful place within the family of nations.
